LeBron James dominated this NBA Championship series. The NBA’s Most Valuable Player has been under huge scrutiny by many sports commentators; not the least of which has been Skip Bayless, the focal point of ESPN’s First Take.  While others in this community of sports commentators have offered more objective reviews on LeBron James, Skip Bayless continues to banter and bait about LeBron’s continuous failures on the court focusing on his inability to win an NBA Championship.  That all ended tonight with the Coronation of the King! LeBron James dominated this NBA championship series and now has his well deserved NBA championship!

This has to bring the end of all criticism of LeBron James.  In a well deserved final victory in tonight’s 5th game of the NBA Championship, LeBron dominated his opponent in winning his first championship.  Grant it, it was a total team victory! Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, Shane Battier, Mario Chalmers, Mike Miller, and a host of others stepped up to assist in the Miami Heat‘s four straight victories to reign victorious over the highly favored Oklahoma Thunder.

LeBron James is now the first NBA Superstar to have multiple triple doubles in an NBA Final. Hey Skip Bayless… forget about LeBron having to prove himself by showing his willingness to take the clutch shot with two seconds remaining in a close game.  That’s a fallacious argument. Drop it Skip!  LeBron proved his value in this series as the consummate team player and leader of the Miami Heat. LeBron James was rightfully named the NBA Championship’s Most Valuable Player.

Miami led by 10 points after the first half.  Early in the second half, the Thunder stormed back to narrow the Heat lead to five points.  It appeared it might be a competitive game.  Many predicted the Heat could not win four in a row.  In fact, it was highly anticipated if they were going to win the NBA Championship, they would have to do it in Oklahoma. NOT!

It was the Miami Heat, not the Oklahoma Thunder that stormed back.  They dominated the third quarter.  Following the Thunder’s brief run early in the third quarter, the Heat mounted a huge run from which the Thunder never recovered.  It was a show… a clinic in domineering an opponent.  It was a total team effort led by LeBron James.

Congratulations to LeBron James, the Miami Heat team and to head coach Eric Spoelstra.  No one really expected you to win this championship series.  You not only won, you dominated.  You deserve to be called world champs.  Wear those rings proudly.  You deserve it!  I only wish I could be in South Beach tonight!  Keep it safe!
